Guarantee FAQs
Do I need Building Regulations approval for new windows and doors?
As an Assure Certified Installer, we self-certify all our installations under the Competent Person Scheme. You do not need to apply for local authority Building Regulations approval — we handle all compliance on your behalf and issue you a certificate.
What is PAS 24 and why does it matter?
PAS 24 is the British Standard for enhanced security performance of windows and doorsets. Products tested to PAS 24 have been proven to resist forced entry attempts. Our composite doors and windows meet this standard, giving you peace of mind about your home’s security.
What U-value do your windows and doors achieve?
Our standard double-glazed units achieve a U-value of 1.2 W/m²K or better, exceeding the Building Regulations requirement of 1.6 W/m²K. Triple-glazed options achieve 0.8 W/m²K for maximum thermal performance.
Will I get a certificate I can show when selling my home?
Yes. You receive an Assure certificate for every installation, which confirms compliance with Building Regulations. This is the documentation your solicitor and buyer will require when you sell your property.
